Hiba Dandachli
Social Entrepreneur & Digital Storyteller
“What Works For Hiba” is a platform that I founded and launched in 2018 with the mission of Empowering Change, One Human at a Time.
Over the years, I have realized how heavily we have been fed preconceived notions about life, with learned concepts of what’s right and wrong, normal or otherwise, beautiful or not. This can leave us feeling left out, less confident, and seeing life in black and white. Instead, life can and should be a beautiful, enlightening journey, that we get to live on our own terms.
Action came in the form of “What Works For Hiba”, which is my personal contribution and interpretation of Love, Life, and Freedom. With those three words, I have embarked on a mission to embrace everything around me, and share my thoughts, emotions, and experiences, with you. Occasionally, I also share my personal take on motherhood, self-care, fashion, real beauty, and lifestyle.
Join this platform and take is as an open invitation to experience Life according to what works for you, as it only exists in the hope that you feel inspired to see more of what you can do and realize that there’s nothing you can’t. With assertion, we can live a more abundant life.
Here, you can also accompany me as I collaborate with brands and agencies that share our value system. As a social entrepreneur, I want to discover unique ways to use my voice and allow myself to connect with a diverse audience and inspire positive change. On this website, you can also find all my recently published written and video content under the “Stories” and “Videos” sections. You can also learn more about my inspiration and check out press features and published pieces.
Now, allow me to conclude this introduction on a more personal note. I am an Arab woman and a citizen of the world. When asked “what do you do in life?”, my first answer is always “I live it, fully and openly”. But for the sake of conventionalism, I can tell you that I wear multiple hats. I am a single mother, a Social Entrepreneur & Digital Storyteller. I was raised in societies that rarely embrace individuality and freedom of expression, but as I grew, I realized that strength comes from being true to yourself, fighting injustice, and breaking the boundaries of fear, silence, shame, and guilt. I hold degrees in dietetics, fashion, and most recently, public speaking and communications on the multi-dimensional aspects of life.
