Beit Kanz
Places that speak to the heart, are filled with soul in every corner, and serve a higher purpose; these work perfectly!
This is Beit Kanz, a social entrepreneurship project by Beit el Baraka and Maya Ibrahimchah, the founder and president of Beit el Baraka.
After a while from its recent opening, I visited Beit Kanz for Dinner in November 2022. It was cold and rainy. I walked in and I could just feel the warmth in every corner. That Energy, those colors, the welcoming team, the details in every corner.
You could expect all that beauty since it was nestled in an old restored home in the alleys of Sursock with walls handpainted by Degournay.
The food is Lebanese with a modern twist while preserving authenticity.
And what’s even more heartwarming, is that all of this goes back into the Beit El Baraka pool to fund social & community projects. I can also confirm that most of the raw material and products used in the food or sold in the boutiques is produced or made by families in need from across the country. Make sure you visit the place when in Beirut, and shop for traditional elegant homeware and wholesome produce.
Sending you love and power, always!
